Head to head Norwich 24 wins Draw 16 Sheffield Wednesday 20 wins Team news Giannoulis Rowe Handley Hernandez Sorensen Injured or doubtful to make the squad After the heroics of Saturday lunchtime where Norwich easily chased off Ipswich with a goal that will haunt Ipswich fans for decades from Nunez . They remain in 6th place 4 points above Coventry who have a game in hand followed by Middlesbrough & Hull . Sheffield Wednesday are currently in 23rd spot fighting relegation so have everything to play for. No new injuries so hopefully Rowe is nearly ready to return after his long lay off . Perhaps Van Hooijdonk will get some minutes as he has only had a few appearances since his loan switch & Wagner tends to stick with the same 11 . As we go into the final 5 games our destiny is our own hands ,if we pick up maximum points nobody can overtake us . The only concern is 3 of those games are away & we have been a bit hit & miss on the road . If we can't beat Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow 17 places below then we don't really deserve to gp up . A win from them would mean they could jump out of the relegation places . We don't want to rely on others losing below us to stay in the play off spots either so hopefully a convincing win where we can rest players for the final grind & give some minutes to our academy kids like Aboh, Montoia & Welsh OTBCNMTD More content to follow
Great thread Dunc. Rowe returned to training today but won't be risked against Wednesday. He'll stay in Norwich and train with the U21s while the team travels north. That should give him a good chance of being in the squad for Preston. In other games tomorrow, Preston host Huddersfield and Coventry are away at Southampton.
It is, and I am in the Philippines and know that. Can't watch that though, but fawanews has not let me down so far. But 0245 ko for me, just hope my prostate makes me need a piss about then so I shall get up and watch.
The joys of growing older, GE. That's the cunning plan I use for American football games in the night.
I always find whisky, even just a medium sized glass, is the best bet for making me need an early hours wizzle
It works if you click on it, CS. Wagner said he hoped to rest some players during the match. Duffy is just back from injury.
Batth in for Duffy seems sensible given that he was rushed back in due to Sorensens injury. Im suprised there isn’t a few more rotated, I don’t expect this to be an easy game but after playing Leicester and Ipswich within a few days there could be some tired legs out there
