don't think its most, a slim majority maybe bread makers good idea It is nice to have an in house bakery, was looking for a chance to comment .. this could at last be their year top of Div1 ... albeit points on the board and those behind games in hand!
****ing hell RR this is special even for you mate. So on July 31st, it ceased being Pearson's team and became Ranieri's team, is that it?
Makes Pearson a bit of an LJ then, brought in the players but couldn't manage them.....Ranieri managed them to the prem title.......RR basically saying Pearson is good at scouting players but rubbish at managing them ...................In a word.......clueless!
Arsene Wenger should be available at the end of the season, how about him? I agree that LJ should have gone back when we set a record for consecutive defeats - even though transfer targets would have been identified for months in advance, a new man could have been given at least some input during the transfer window. The irritating thing is I believe there's enough talent in the side to be at least safely mid-table, but they're not living up to that ability. I don't pretend to have insider knowledge like RR does, but if I were SL, I'd consider having one on one meetings with the players, in full confidentiality, and see what they say. If they say, 'yes, the results are bad but we believe in the approach he's taking', then that should carry weight. If they genuinely have an issue with him, then that, coupled with results, should be decisive.
Well we all know Cotts is still in the area. I've seen him a few times in the centre, and I know for a fact he still has contact with some players (I've literally never once claimed to know stuff on here, this is 100% certain). We're still paying him, but surely that's not something that could or would ever happen.... is it?
If there was a stand out candidate out of work who would be interested I would say he should go- truth is there just isn't. Rowett & Warburton are no more experienced/proven than LJ, they just won't come with the stigma LJ does, so the haters on here will be more tolerant to them. We may have half a chance with Pearson, but he has a management style I don't think SL will tolerate. As for Pardew forget it, he will only want Prem, or as a minimum a top Champ club looking for promotion.
So instead of establishing ourselves as a competitive mid table Championship team with aspirations of making the 'big time' in a few years, which is what we should be doing right now, you are actually ok with us having to do it all again in front of dwindling gates again ? People wont fall for all this nonsense year after year. Season ticket sales will crash and so will revenue, which will affect the players we can attract etc etc etc. Relegation will be a crime, and Lansdown will be the guilty party if its allowed to happen.
Not saying I want it or enjoy it but if that happens will I renew my season ticket? Without a doubt I will. When fate decided that I will follow City then unfortunately that's what happened through thick or thin. I don't want it to happen but unfortunately the only choice I have is to stick with it or give up and to me that's not an option. Being Welsh and a city fan gives me no choice but to be half full and maybe one day my dreams will come true.
Straight forward answer to the question..."NO" LJ should stay...and yes im an happy clapper if thats what you want to call me but I have more sense than the childish moron who started a petition.
