Village Green Cafe (Kingswood) - Last night somebody decided to destroy a frame in our gents toilets which displayed a signed Hull City Shirt. They then stole the shirt. The shirt was bought at a charity auction to raise money for a local cancer charity. It's was signed with the message "To Andy". please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Still incredibly stupid to mount the signed shirt in a toilet. Honestly, what did they expect would happen?
Forgot to mention, the shirt's signed by Deano. If you get any info, please let them know - https://www.facebook.com/The-Village-Green-Cafe-Bar-1537570886489369/
In the 'good old days' the joke used to be that someone stole the pins that held the shirt in place, and left the shirt.
Investigations have begun after the trophy room at Boothferry Park was broken into and ransacked. Police are on the lookout for a teak cabinet and a black and amber carpet.
The only things in the trophy cabinet during the 'good old days' many on here remember so fondly was the Air Arrow Trophy, a deflated leather football from 1930, a tea service given to us by Stoke City in 1971, the Sunday Mirror Giant Killers Cup awarded to us in 1966 and a lot of dust.
Was it? I think their trust in their patrons is admirable and a pity an arsehole betrayed that. The shirt isn't the end of the world, neither is the action. Do we assume there will always be a bellend and do nowt decent?
