One thing DC and the players have is bouncebackability. 2-0 to Rovers

 

After the Shrimpers impressive 3-0 victory away at The Blades this is not going to be an easy encounter by any means and as history dictates that Roots Hall hasn't been a very happy hunting ground for The Rovers a draw is what I think would be a very acceptable return........At least this game is not on a Friday night !

I don think we will get anything from this game our record at Roots Hall is truly abysmal I'm going for a 2-1 defeat.

 

Am I reading that right? Only won 7 but scored 101 goals? Lost 31 but conceded just 52?

Southend got a great win on Tuesday but let's not forget that before then they had lost eight in a row stretching back to last season. While they showed some neat play in the final third, all three of their goals at Bramall Lane were gifted to them, so I don't think there's lots for us to worry about.

The only problem for us is not our record at Roots Hall, but the very short breaks between each of our matches at present.

With Chelsea coming up, I am a little surprised that players like Montano, Moore and James not starting today as some of our players today will want to be involved vs Chelsea. I know league games is more important but I would have rested a couple today.
