Spurs remain infuriating unpredictable, but this was probably one of those weeks (with hindsight, of course) to back the in form opposition. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

 

Ah the joys of supporting this great club. I have just spent the last 40 minutes in ALDI with an elderly Forest fan chewing over the games this weekend, much to his wife's amusement....

I have discovered that Luton is not just the centre of the millinery industry, but that there is a 400-year-old specialism in STRAW HATS! So I found an ideal song for our upcoming fixture! And if your feet start tapping, it’s done its job. Let’s hope our lads’ feet start not just tapping but trapping, passing and shooting with maximum regularity against a team fighting for survival - but surely beatable. Must be!
A Straw Hat and A Cane, is sung (and performed) by Johnny Desmond. But I really love this video of a group of grannies – and please don’t tell me it’s because of my age. I just think it it’s loveably quaint!
