After less than a year. According to News Online his sacking is down to Boy Wonder's plans for restructuring in the summer. Let's hope the new owners have their own restructuring in mind.

I thought he'd gone ages ago.

A couple of the players had openly talked about a blazing Training Ground row with Slade back in the summer.

Makes me think Duchatelet will be here for a bit longer. Then again, very little of what Duchatelet does is rational

Why do we need a Chief Scout when we have got the great Thomas Driesen ?

Did they lock him in the secure room?

Seriously, another nail in the coffin that is Meire's CV. We had a decent scout who jacked it in as the club ignored every recommendation as Dreisen was the preferred option. This season's squad has turned out to be as poor as all the others we have had under Duchatalet. Great scouting or no backing? Probably a combination of the two.
We have learned from our mistakes

Don't worry Robinson is going to sort it out in the Summer, along with the ten top notch signings. Reams is advising him so what can go wrong?

i'd hope the restructuring includes sacking big Karl. useless too. we need a mass purge and to start again. anyone employed by the regime has to go, they're clearly not good enough for us.

At least we know that when the final nail does eventually go in it will be so so firmly nailed shut.

As Millwall Bob said, every time he asked for a player, the answer was no.
