    Not watching the match so correct me if I'm wrong but Burnley have had 17 attempts to our 11. I know the only ones that count are the two that went in but that's a bit alarming considering who we are playing and at home.

    Altogether not a bad day. Not only are we 4 points off relegation, but 5 of the 6 teams beneath us have inferior GD. The exception - West Brom - are a point behind with a level GD. Nobody wants it to go to GD at the end of the season, of course, but in our position at 3 pm, I was looking for any scrap of good news! <laugh>

    Some great play down our left in particular. The goals were top class team goals. Great, incisive forward passes from Defoe, Seb, AJ and Gomez put the fullbacks into the killer areas. Very pleasing.

    Burnley played well second half and we had to respect that and not over-commit in trying to win by a cricket score.

    Would've liked to see Alvarez come on ten or fifteen minutes sooner.
