Sounds promising. Can you tell us more. Are they Chinese, Americans.? Just hope it's people who have genuine football ambitions
The billionaire former chairman of Walt Disney is at the advanced stage of buying Portsmouth. Good luck to them. There are buyers out there.
I'm still to hear anything concrete and one potential interested party I know hasn't been told about a rival bid being accepted. Of course there may well be a confidentiality agreement, but as Everitt says, these things are hard to keep quiet. Can't say I know much on how these things work, but with people heading to Belgium from London it could be feasible that rather than accepting a bid that they may well be working on putting it up for sale? That or to discuss how much revenue the sex on the pitch advert created.
Of course not, and even if somebody was to offer around £50m, they would refuse because @CAFCofficial and ITTV have confirmed that "The Club is Not For Sale"
I dont understand this. If he wanted a mickey mouse football club then Berylson is trying to sell Millwall.
Massive street cred to The Flying Monk if the sale comes off, he can then mug off that prick Williamson. I wonder what that piece of s*** will have to say?!
Regarding Rick Everitt's takeover... Just wondering why Meire would announce the partial closure of 2 Stands next season if she and RD were planning to depart ? Surely that announcement points to the fact that they are fully anticipating even worse attendances next season, precisely because they know they will be staying?
http://the72.co.uk/77985/charlton-fans-will-rally-take-back-valley-banner-card/ So Reg says takeover in 8 weeks does he? I thought our Chief Exec refused to talk to him?? So why would Reg know?? Love it to be true however.
I fully expect a Takeover to happen before June. I think the Season Ticket business doesn't mean that Duchatelet and Meire are staying.
There is a charge against the ex directors like Chapple, Whitehand, etc. They would have to agree to the Takeover. It could be that Reg is still in contact with them.
Agree, it doesn't prove anything, they still have to make business decisions. The fact is there's always a possibility that a takeover can fall through, as we know only too well.
