People on the pitch. Players mobbed. Children traumatised as this stopped a lap of honour. Now their fans must be worried about points deductions, ground closures etc.
Will they have fans claiming their twins were traumatised and couldn't sleep or fretting about points deductions? I guess they won't.Or go on about possible points deductions following a pitch invasion after a cup game like some of ours did. No doubt some of our fans will do the usual sneering at Brighton. But they have got their own ground with crowds of 29,000 in the Championship and a good training ground following a local man who has been a fan for 40 years investing £250million after years of crap. Wouldn't mind being in their situation.
I saw the Pompey fans invade the pitch AWAY at Notts County. That was a little naughty and disrespectful.
Quoting some remarks made by some of our fans, particularly one who withered on about his traumatised kids and their sleepless nights because they were deprived of a lap of honour for weeks on the old CI following our promotion from League One.
Don't be so sure, apparantely because the Premier League is global, whereas the championship was only local audience, the owner has applied to change the name to the Brighton and Hove Albion Hawk Albatrosses, much shorter and more appealing.
Talking of ,google the Bastia/ Lyon match that had to be postponed last weekend.Even the Bastia stewards had a go at the Lyon players. Good job it wont on me fixed odds..
