Heard a guy on radio 5 this morning. Supporter, stadium announcer and other stuff. I was touched when he said he played Reggae and Ska records at their old ground and Phil Collins was officially banned. I presumed he meant his **** music was officially banned. A club stance I support wholeheartedly. Good luck to them.
Decent Championship larkers to a man (except Cooper and MacLame (who is doing his pre season on Filey beach giving rides to kids). Great squad management by SB. Deal with it.
Even more if three is no one shrieking good afternoon to each stand to the amusement and bafflement of away fans.
Ey ey ey Do brighton still put on local beers for the away fans and light it up in the respective colours Best away day in the prem next year is brighton especially if its in august
Tremendous away day, they keep the bars open after the game as well - last time we were there they approached us about an hour after the game finished to say they had to close the bar but were quite happy for us to move to the home end to keep drinking
Yes I am. Someone in Australia can see and hear what goes on via those modern inventions, television and the wireless. Have they reached your neck of the woods yet?
Adam Pearson wanted fans to stay and have a drink whilst watching the results come in. Needless to say the police and others didn't want that and put the mockers on it. They wanted the community out of the community stadium sharpish.
You can on the American and Canadian streams I watch on. They are there before the game on quite a few of them. Don't knock Patty. People are grateful for his streams.
There's no police issue with people staying in the stadium after the game has finished, the problem is that nobody wants to, it's hard enough getting them all to stay until the bloody game's finished. Mediocre beer, TV's sometimes on, sometimes off, no smoking, are all reasons you're never going to get people to hang around after the games. They arrive just before kick off and leave the minute it finished, if there was a large bar, with decent beer and Sky, you'd have half a chance, but inside the stadium simply isn't appealing enough.
City were told right from the opening they couldn't keep the bars open as the police wanted everyone out of the way so they could wrap up their operations as soon as possible despite City paying a fortune for their "services".
I agree tho I think the main reason they do it is to stagger people leaving - a lot of the crowd use the train to get back to Brighton and surrounding areas (cost of public transport is included in yr ticket) and no way can the trains cope if everyone leaves immediately the match ends.
nah - Brucie only started him 9 times and when we played against Newcastle in the cup, Hayden went on record as saying he wanted to prove the doubters wrong It's the ****test away day of the lot - no car parking for away fans anywhere near the ground - you have to use a park and ride which takes at least 20 minutes by bus to collect your car - no pubs for away fans anywhere near the ground - Brighton can **** right off
We tried to make his loan deal permanent in the January window (he made 24 appearances for us). http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/635747/Hull-Steve-Bruce-permanent-deal-Isaac-Hayden-Arsenal
