    Yet this time last year he was afford the same sympathy as Slutsky. Let's see if it plays out the same. Marshall is back in a few weeks. God forbid Slutsky picks him, that'll be the reason we get beat - not the fact we have 9 professional players on our books by then.

    Bollocks he ****ed up the transfers he got.
    Plus look at the players he had and could do **** all with.
    We had a squad well capable of staying up. He was useless.
    Then the midget came in and did well then lost his bottle.

    You can't claim one's a Head Coach who has no control, on the same day that you claim another is a Head Coach and was entirely in control. <doh>

    For the record, I don't think Phelan was in charge of the players he got and neither do I think Slutsky is.

    I reckon the bold is closer to the truth. I think they both had little influence on who came in apart from a couple of players. (Keane and Weir for Phelan and potentially Musa for Sluts).
