Surely time up for Stuart Pearce now? Wouldn't be surprised if sacked before next game.

Me neither, but after Danny Mills questioned Pearce's competence, I would imagine that one or two people in control at Forest started to look at Pearce with a more critical eye.

Just been asked to cover Pompey v Southend for the Press Association and Sunday papers as well as for SUFC.

Means my first ever pitch side interviews with managers will come at Fratton Park - what are the chances?!

    There's a story to tell. <laugh>

Well, they found some sort of understanding in the end. At least Graziano didn't take a pop.

Well the guy may not know how to run a football club, but from the video he looks as though he certainly knows how to prepare a tomato sauce. Me, I'd leave out the basil. Too celebrity chef like. And he's right, pasta sauce making is simple, but it must be done in the right order, otherwise you might as well buy some crap like Dolmio. For those frightened by the amount of salt he put in the water - most of it stays in the water, not going into your stomach. The tiny bit of sugar helps to remove the acidity of the tomatoes. It's not essential.

Noticed one of the players with a big gob was Billy Sharp..!

Basil with tomato is so far from celebrity chef like. It is s staple of Italian tomato sauce TSS. Don't let your preferences cloud other people's minds :)

    Basil every time.

DTLW - did anyone say what was happening behind the ground in that picture? Anything being built?

It's right next to a retail park which has had a lot of work going on, and I believe one of the Pompey guys said it was part of a Tesco development. It's the site of the old car park.

Basil...mmm! I sometimes just eat a basil leaf straight from the plant...lovely. And tomato sauce always needs a pinch of sugar.
