When the ball was heading back to the goal I was thinking "this must be the keepers" and when it bounced I still thought it would be the keepers! The wind must have picked it up again after it bounced.
Josh Chamberlain of Berkhamsted scored this stunner in the FA Vase, any relation to Alex Oxlade I wonder?... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34895687
If the club had enough money to afford a coach it wouldn't happen. Bound to happen occasionally down at the poor end of the football world.
MOTD3: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...52016-leicester-top-and-how-to-beat-the-press Does anybody watch it anymore.? Time was when I used to quite look forward to 10 minutes of the quirky show, especially when Colin Murray used to host it. But since Mark Chapman has taken over the main MOTD2 it's as if the enthusiasm has gone out of MOTD3. Don't get me wrong, Chappers is a very good host for the main show, but Murray used to put the fun into the 10 minute affair. Once or twice it lasted for 20 minutes simply because they bantered on. Now it has turned into a formula, and frankly, it's boring.
No - I mentioned a few weeks ago the same opinions - it's not remotely interesting ot watch anymore. They've tried to follow a similar formula to the fairly successful Women's World Cup catch up programme they did - which was popular becuase it was a) different and b) highlights of matches that had happened overnight that no-one had seen. There's no-one who misses MOTD and MOTD2 but thinks 'okay, I'll catch up using MOTD3'
Tbf to the Carlisle groundstaff, they got the pitch back into a very good condition indeed. After 90 minutes of football it seemed to be fine. As regards MOTD3, I'm sorry I missed your comments from a few weeks back, PP.
Yes, TSS that's right. Sadly for Pompey, they thought it would only be ready for 90 minutes football and not the 95 played, hence they conceded a 95th minute equaliser
The real reason Pompey drew is because I put them to win in the prediction thread....they never do what I put down. Sheer spite.
This also a bit like 606 - when Danny Baker presented it was much more of a magazine show about football and obscure football stories, but is now just a tedious moan in - during which the usual favoured suspects get given more air time than justified. I only listen now if I am cooking or driving back from a match. You could almost script the entire show if you know the results.
