Hapoel's 2nd goal was a thing of exquisite beauty, here's a very poor quality video:

Wow, forgot the League Cup was on tonight, seems strange us having a bye while Chelsea and Liverpool play :)!

Some strong line-ups put out tonight by the Premier League teams, I hope that we do the same instead.

Yes, I think we let go too cheaply there, considering what others are paying and we still had leverage :(.

Well we have found some talented players that we have gleaned from Celtic in recent years!

Are you suggesting that Ms Leibherr is really Snow White. Who do you see as the wicked step mother?

I think we kinda got unlucky in some ways as the massive ramp up happened post-bid. It's fine, we got a good price. Just he looked like a £50m player tonight. The Liverpool fans are in heaven about him right now. I have no problem with it, and wish him the best. He's a good lad.

Les on Friday nights at one of "those" cabaret clubs in London. Wasn't he seen getting the train to Lomdon today? Clearly that was for rehearsal and the suit was just cover.

Saints bought their best players leaving Celtic with relative dross. This is the 50th anniversary season since Celtic became the first British team to win the European Cup (CL) as it was known as in 66/67. To think all their team came from within 30 miles of Parkhead!! So it beggars the question if they had talent in those days why can't they find the talent today on their own doorstep.

The same applies to England when it was full of world class players. The only one two who could be considered at that level since the days of Alan Shearer and Paul Gascoigne would be Ashley Cole and maybe Lampard.

The world was different in the sixties. Britain was well known for combative players who never gave the opposition a rest. Our teams are full of foreign players now. What we looked for in players then is different from now. There would be no chance of finding all your players locally to compete on the European stage....most teams would struggle to find more than one top player within 30 miles. Look how we are importing youngsters into our Academy now.

Yeah. Didn't know that. I mean, yeah, it's crap, but is there another reason to boo it?

UEFA forced their away game last season with a Russian team to be played behind closed doors because the Russian team were singing racist chants, city fans who travelled weren't reimbursed and I think I remember some Russian fans attended the game anyway even though it was behind closed doors. Pretty fair I think. Can't remember who it was they were playing
