Good Morning. It's Friday 26th April, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

Leeds alerted to Ben Johnson's availability

Leeds target Ben Johnson will leave West Ham at the end of the season on a free transfer, according to multiple reports in the media.

The 24yo full back is out of contract at the end of the season, and has not been able to agree new terms with the East London based club. He joined the Hammers at the tender age of seven, rising up through the age groups, before joining the first team in 2019.

He was hotly tipped to join the Whites in January after falling out with his employers due to wage demands not being met. Johnson currently earns £20,000 a week, which does seem a little low for a Premier League footballer. He wanted that figure tripled, but West Ham have refused.

Leeds face competition from Ipswich Town, who are set to cash in on Leif Davis this Summer for circa £25m. Rangers, Southampton and Crystal Palace have also been linked with the versatile defender.

Bamford major doubt for QPR outing

Patrick Bamford is a major doubt to start at Loftus Road tonight, as Leeds look to put distance between themselves and Ipswich Town.

The 30yo picked up a knee injury during the 4-3 win at the Riverside Stadium midweek, leading to his substitution on 75 mins. According to Farke: "I will have to make some late decisions, Patrick has a big bruise on his knee."

This gives Joel Piroe an opportunity to stamp his authority. The former Swansea City front man has fallen down the pecking order this year, with Farke preferring Bamford to lead the line when fit.

Hull have it all to play for against Tractor Boys

Following their dramatic 3-2 win at Coventry City midweek, Hull City have it all to play for when Ipswich Town visit the MKM Stadium on Saturday evening.

Hull may be bitter local rivals with Leeds, but have an outside chance of making the play off's if they can beat Kieran McKenna's outfit! They are now just three points shy of both West Brom and Norwich (who both also have superior goal differences), but it would at least give them hope going in to the final day of the season, should either falter at the weekend.
