A mate of mine loved them when they first came out. So much so, he learnt nearly every move going and often beat me with me getting a hit in. probably why I don't like them
Yeah..did the same with the first one. They launched the six button controller for the mega drive a whole 3 more buttons lol. Tbh there's so many moves now I can't keep up...pretty much all the original button combos are still moves so I just use those and feck the new ones..I bought the newest one in a moment of nostalgia. The predator and Jason are great characters on it though lol.
Has anyone started watching the new season of Fortitude? The first season was a bit slow but I feel the 2nd season is really fast paced and interesting so far.
Glad I stuck with the first one as it was very slow before it really delivered. Haven't statrted the new one yet though.
Same, it started off a bit too slowly really. All the episodes are on Catch-up/On Demand on Sky now, well worth a watch the new season. I'm 5 episodes in and its gone ****ing bonkers
For me Fences never overcomes the fact that it's an adaptation of a play and basically feels and looks like they've just filmed a performance in a theatre for cinema. There are some good performances but that central problem is a huge one. It never becomes its own film that exists separately to a theatrical performance. For a film to win awards for best film, director and so on it's important and should be vital that it works on its own filmic terms. However I can see awards for it in the performance categories.
Lion, Manchester by the Sea or Arrival would be my picks for best film btw What do I think will win it? Either Hidden Figures, Moonlight or Fences ... and rightly so because it's important that a 'black' or non-white majority film wins in the year Trump became president Please just not La La Land, this film is total garbage and total sycophantic awards / Hollywood fare
I agree that it feels like a play but I thought that was both intentional and a refreshing change. I enjoyed Arrival and Lion, Moonlight was ok but lacked something for me. None are anything special though.I'm going to watch Manchester By The Sea this weekend so cannot comment yet.
Watched The Founder about the creation of Maccy Ds. Hate the company and everything it now stands for but it's an interesting and good film which starts out with what seem probable strong elements of propaganda and nostalgia that become something more twisted and troubling. Well balanced film that's better than you'd expect if not life-chantingly good ... sheep/badgers Michael Keaton as the main guy Ray Kroc is fantastic
No matter how crap a film is. If the subject matter is something about Hollywood insiders. Hollywood insiders will give it rave reviews. If giant alien humanoid ducks picked Oscar winners then Howard the Duck would have swept the Oscars. / Yes I'm referencing the duck again. Watched TV Series episode 1 of Frequency. Really good 3/10. Loved the pilot and pilots usually suck.
My wife has got me watching "The good place", thought it looked dumb when passing through room whilst she was watching it, but actually watching it myself I think it's pretty creative and funny. I like it. 6.654356789753235689097310492895295217074326790742356352325790071835026797336905225709534663553323666313790753146909655435678975323568909731049289529521707432679074235635232579007183502679733690522570953466355332366631379075314690965543567897532356890973104928952952170743267907423563523257900718350267973369052257095346635533236663137907531469096554356789753235689097310492895295217074326790742356352325790071835026797336905225709534663553323666313790753146909655435678975323568909731049289529521707432679074235635232579007183502679733690522570953466355332366631379075314690965/ 10.1
