I liked Baker, but to be honest if he came or not didn't bother me as he was good for us he was not great. He brought the best out in Flint who to me is far more important. So getting another defender alongside him would in my opinion be someone better, someone who could also score a goal or two. I also remember back to the Blackburn game in particular and thought he could be a loose cannon. Would of been happy if he joined but out of the loanees like Tomlin or Mathews not the most important.
FLINTY WILL HAVE LEARNED A LOT FROM BAKER now with a couple of younger players with him he will want to show them "what it is all about" and that always helps

Don't believe that either - if nothing else, we've also got enough midfielders now. That kind of money for a really excellent striker however...
