One target missed? http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.c...-money-and-bigger-offer-to-be-jambo-1-3814075
Really is his loss, clearly has no understanding of British football. He talks about us as if were Chelsea or Man City where we have so many players he'll struggle to break through! Come on mate, if you did a bit of research you would know we have 2 strikers! and you would also know that the Scottish league is a piece of piss, so if you don't manage to score consistently there you won't anywhere else in Britain, and if you do it's not really a great accomplishment as again, you might not be able to do it here in England for any decent team. Sounds a bit of a weird signing to be honest, rather hearts had him.
The grass is always assumed to be better somewhere else Shiny so let him decide whether he made the right move. We will just move opn without him and it will be interesting to see if he can score goals in the far north.
One to get Red Robin ****ing in his socks and the Gas heads crying. http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/170639-rickie-lambert/
The good news is that this is on BS Central - so probably not true: 27 Jun 2015 20:01:21 Heard today that bristol city midefielder luke freeman is the talk of a 2 million pound offer from relegated QPR, will be gutted if it's true!
why go to qpr, freeman should stay and see where it takes him this season with a quality bunch around him. plus new signings will be arriving. i doubt he will leave unless they offer him silly money.
Mark Bunn for City.. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/bristol-city-set-to-sign-former-norwich-city-goalkeeper/
QPR will have money to spend from their (unfair) parachute payments. Very possible that they will pay over the top in both terms of transfer fees and wages to get back up. They are a good club with a semi-sensible owner and the lure of the bright lights of West London is strong. However, Bristol is a nice place to live, the stadium and facilities will be better than QPR's and we're a club hopefully on the up. The grass may not always be greener..... How much longer on his contract?
Chris Woods , decent keeper in the past but is getting on a bit at 55 probably best if we went for Mark Bunn instead
