We play at Palace on the Sunday, Swansea will have played the previous day at New Roker, so we will know what we need to do there
You look back to all the **** refs decisions and think to yourselves...WTF....That said there were several stinkers yesterday....Man City pen at Mbro, never a pen in a million years. Rashford vs Swansea = clear dive. Kane's looked more nailed on, but still iffy...The sooner they have the video assistant the better. At least the divers will have to stop because they'll be picking up two yellows every game.
Rashford and Kane penalties were difficult for the referee video replays are needed there should also be charges and suspensions for diving
We can only play with the player we have who on the whole have pulled together and are doing their best to keep us in the PL. I prefer to remain optimistic rather than start pulling players apart at this stage.
Some people really need to get a grip on reality. There is nothing about Swansea's recent form that suggests they are going to win all of their last three games! We have a better chance of winning three on the bounce than Swansea. If we win two games we will get to the magical 40 point mark. Good luck to Swansea at getting past that.
Swansea won at home and drew at Manchester United - this suggests they can win two or three matches. It's not like they have thirty games to play. Three on the bounce is a big ask for us seeing as we haven't won an away match in the Premier League since the start of the season.
I'm glad you are not my accountant We don't need to win three. We have two more home games, we can win two more home games.
who said we needed to win three games? you said: "We have a better chance of winning three on the bounce than Swansea" I was responding to your statement I didn't mention anything about what was needed.
Last time I looked we were two points above Swansea with better current form. Hence my statement. I never said we would actually win three. My point was Swansea won't win three.
Think the main thing which will stop us winning on Saturday is complacency. Sunderland may have the pressure off but they're bottom for a reason. Like Bob said last night, there is an eerie similarity between this weekend and the Burnley game 2 years ago this weekend so nerves and trepidation are understandable. However, unlike 2 years ago, we seem to be able to handle the pressure games (West Ham, Boro, Swansea) and have a manager who has instilled a winning mentality, especially at home. For example, if it was Bruce or Phelan for the Watford game, it would likely at best have been a draw. Mackems should not be taken lightly but anything like what we have done at home over the last month should be too much for them.
I didn't say we would win three If your point was that Swansea wont win three you should have said that What you actually said was: "We have a better chance of winning three on the bounce than Swansea." which is different
The Swansea fan that posts on here said they rely on one or two players and when they don't perform, Swansea don't. Llorente being one of them. Sigurdsson the other.
Spot on. The difference is Silva. He only talks about any game in terms of winning and you can see that in how we play. I expect he'll approach Sunderland in the same way he did against Boro.
If we are not doing well I am sure Silva wont throw his hands in the air as if there's nothing he can do about it. I think he will act by half time at the latest.
you've wriggled and squirmed but at the end of the day you know you are wrong Swansea have one hard game and two easier games whereas we have one easier game and two hard games.
