A West Ham style collapse in post-exile home form is unlikely to see Tottenham actually get relegated, but I'm sure every neutral would relish the news media and youtube footage of distressed Spurs fans trudging up Wembley way in a state of utter despair and bewilderment.

 

If that did happen, Adrian Durham would gobble Goughy off on live radio. Okay, you wouldn't see it, but you'd certainly hear the sucking noises.

I'm am ready to forgive him for this slight intellectual lapse, and I am sure that he regrets uttering those words with every goal that our dear Harry crashes into the back of the net.

 

It really shows how poor the premier league currently is when Harry Kane can't perform like this in non-domestic competitions.

 

It's not down to Kane, it's down to the entire team. If the team don't give Kane the ball when he's in a position to make the best use of it, then he isn't going to score. He's not the same type of player as Bale, who could create chances for his self. Poch has set the team up to play as a team, not a collection of 11 individuals.

I know it's a masterpiece and one of the more successful threads on the board but when City win their game in hand you'll still be third until united, Arsenal overtake you.

 

I think he means Lame doesn't always turn up and certainly not in big matches but against cannon fodder he's ok.

 

Kane is such an enigma.

He's clearly really ****ing terrible but he's one of the best finishers I've ever seen. Pass it to Kane, let him shoot and you've got a goal.
