To be fair, unless we want to be hosting full blown internationals (highly unlikely) or big concerts, then neither football, and certainly not rugby, is going to come anywhere close to filling 27,000 seats.
A capacity of15,000 would be ample for the current state of affairs.
We could end up with another Darlington Arena if we don't stay in this division....

BCFC have less income than most of the division,

you say we cannot compete against other clubs in this division,BCFC are a lot bigger than many in this division, and equal to many more.
Bring success, and that would increase our income, which in turn benefits the club.
There is a famous saying bring success, and the people will come, you only have to look at our success last year in league one.
imagine that happening in the championship,we would be looking at a sold out Ashton Gate every week.
Income to the club, the area, the eateries would be huge.
    success breeds success.

I have stated because of the redeveloped stadium BCFC will become more competitive.

The redevelopment will increase income even if the club is relegated. That is the point. Gates do not and will not sustain BCFC at current spending levels even if the attendances averaged 20000+.

So relegation would not be sooooooooo damaging. It would be part of the inevitable consequences of football. A consequence that in future should be more easily navigated.

Yes and a + - in attendances eirther way x season ticket sales = how many players? Very few. Players will be linked in future to how much non matchday revenue the redevelopment brings in.

We could end up with another Darlington Arena if we don't stay in this division.... City's gates historically are quite stable. That will not happen. half full maybe, 90% empty, no!

Do you honestly believe that the season ticket sales and match day attendance's will hold up next season if we drop down a league?
If the Club are relying on that, they could be sadlky mistaken. If SL is prepared to let that happen, then I would begin to wonder if the stadium rebuild is to create a massive conference centre.

Point SL and other have been making for years was if City moved to Ashton Vale and now post redevelopment season ticket sales dropping by a couple of thousand dont matter so much. And yes the stadium rebuild is to create a massive conference centre which will also have more facilities along Winterstoke road on the land SL has bought.

Do you honestly believe that the season ticket sales and match day attendance's will hold up next season if we drop down a league? No, but that will not be soooooooooo damaging as implied, I do not look at Mr Lansdowns cash as endless monopolyy money as some do, but I see no reason why Mr Lansdown would not restructure debt created by decreased sales., none at all.

. If SL is prepared to let that happen, then I would begin to wonder if the stadium rebuild is to create a massive conference centre. ... Aspects of the redevelopment will be heavily focused on conferences - Expect a Hotel owned by Mr Lansdown to appear in the near vicinity.
