Yeah but, it's been this way for years. I think it was 2012 that 'Teamcard' was introduced and we were told how wonderful this new system would be and it'd allow them to track loyalty much better and there'd be loads of benefits and points systems etc. It's just buzzword bullshit.
I never expected the scheme to deliver on its promises. I do think that membership schemes work, but what is the point in losing the means to target who you selling something to. The value of concessions is that you have means of measuring the demographic of your customer base. The money you lose in ticket prices is matched by not having to invest in researching the target of your marketing. The club has nothing now to say how many over 65's it has as members. It lost the opportunity to sell targeted advertising.
Apparently, the club are now phoning people and saying they're calling from Hull City Football Club. Some common sense finally being applied.
Either: 1. The Allams are in complete control and micro manage everything and are responsible for everything. or 2. They're not. Which is it? Or are we still persisting with highlighting any negatives and attributing them to the Allams, to suit specific agendas?
The use of Hull City Tigers everywhere is entirely the Allams doing, everyone else thinks it's ****ing stupid, including everyone who works at the KCOM.
I'd go for 1. During the call I received I asked the guy numerous times to refer to the club as Hull City, otherwise the questions were irrelevant. He was adamant that he'd been told that he wasn't allowed. He did agree to record all my answers with "If your question refers to Hull City ..." I don't believe Ehab has spoken to all operators individually but there appeared clear instructions as to what name they should use. Enjoyed that half hour. If it's been fed back & changed then fair play. Only another 29 minutes & 45 seconds of issues left to sort & I'll be back.

I think its both. I also think we're going to see some things change for the good, and by that I mean changes by the current owners, and not in a change of current owners.
Unfortunately having the currents owners continuing to be so is not good. BTW, how do you manage to post its when it should be it's? I have to check mine as it alters its to it's.
