    Was that in the days when Hull had a Thursday league for firemen, police etc.?

    that's correct played against him many times in the thursday league

    Not stood the test of time as 'walk on' music, but there are still copies round somewhere.

    Part of our rich and long history as a League club, a part of our identity that seems to have been left to quietly fade away and die.

    Anyone got a copy?

    Hessle certainly did :emoticon-0136-giggl, I used to buy my sweets there before the games, even though I came down North road and it would have been easier to buy them at the corner of North road and Boothferry road.

    That's what auto spell check does for you sometimes.

    I seem to remember about a year ago Billy's son had been given the old sign that used to be above his dad shop, which the present owner of the premises had found behind the sign that had been put up which covered it.

    Can you remind me exactly where BB's sweet shop was located John - I seem to have forgotten ? Was it a newsagents/tobacconist/sweetshop combo ? Ta.
