    No, we won't be making anymore signings today on transfer deadline day.

    Said by Harry redknapp, translates to - we haven't got any money left to make signings but I will buy in another three or four anyway.

    I wasn't convinced myself. I never am about good or bad Saints news until I see the reality. But my mate texted me and said he's not going, he's told me, and he was very definite. He was just getting home from the sailing club, parked his car, walked back down and across the road and gone up to JayRod and asked him straight out. I think that was back in late Feb or March. Personally, I wouldn't have the nerve, but he does appear to know the players quite well.

    Trouble is I get nothing from him for weeks and then he pops up with something.

    Someone on here was ADAMANT that it was a fact that J-Rod was off and fell out with me because I doubted him.

    Loads of false ITK during transfer windows. Which is why I try to avoid the threads as much as I can.

    I don't mind people having opinions, but if that opinion is based on what everyone else is saying [which they are rehashing from everyone else], then that is no valid opinion, to my mind. At least have an opinion based on something other than hogwash. Really, rumour threads should die on their feet as there is simply not enough proper rumour to sustain them. :)
