Communism/Socialism is a system intended to keep the people in a state of dependency in order to insure the people are so grateful of the false sense of security of the gov't that they're willing to trade their freedom and liberty for it. It's power over people in the name of the people.

 

No, decriminalizing it means that the children will be picked up by police, questioned and offered a cup of coco before they're back out on the streets instead of being sent to a suitable foster parent. There is no political spin anybody couldbuse to justify a child prostitute whether they are conservative or socialist.

 

That's a pretty awful way of seeing it, but I suppose it could happen. The alternative is young girls who are being pimped out by older men, being pulled in front of a judge and prosecuted as criminals. That is surely not a viable way to respond to that issue. Would you have wanted this for the girls in the Rotherham case? Of course not.

I see what you're actually calling for is proper social care and fostering in place to look after victims of child sexual exploitation. Surely a first step along that path is to encourage the victims to see the police as people they can run to rather than run from.

 

In the states the latter idea seems difficult as media are working tirelessly at demonizing police and are race baiting as if it was an Olympic sport.

 

It's a mix of demonising/race baiting and reporting of genuine police misconduct, which I would argue is a legitimate story to report on.

Meanwhile one of the presidential candidates has made race baiting one of his campaign strategies, and speaks about encouraging further racial profiling with stop and search, which only ups the ante between the police and minorities.

 

I agree with the police brutality issue too. Donald Trump is flawed to high heaven but that has a lot to do with the fact he is an inexperienced politician. The endorsements he has are more to do with stopping Hillary than supporting Trump.

Whoever gets in will be a one term president in my opinion.

 

I agree but he IS using tactics that Hitler employed to gain power and the real problem I see with The Donald being dangerous if he had power is that he is someone who has had everyone bow down to him his entire life; I mean, you can't underestimate the ego that this man has - he believes his own bullshit because nobody has ever questioned him on it before.

 

Outside of ISIS Trump has taken a noninterventionist stance where as Hillary wants to try her luck against Russia. A socioopath like Hillary is much more dangerous than a moron like Trump.

Fret ye not that standard international maneuvering is going on and Hillary might continue that maneuvering. Neither Russia nor USA will go to war over the likes of Syria. That should give people a hint.

Incredible reading so many people talk about someone like Clinton who is broadly speaking in politics for the right reasons as corrupt and a sociopath while excusing Donald Trump who broadly speaking in politics for entirely his own ends. How can people have such poor judgement?

I said Trump is a moron and Hillary is a sociopath. Pretty good judgment I would say. It should be Ted Cruz vs Bernie Sanders but the DNC undermined Bernie and the media attention towards Trump during the primaries is why he is so big now and I know for a fact the DNC and the msm regret picking Trump as the pied piper candidate now and probably will do come November too.
