Oh I wish all the p***poor journalists (children mostly it seems) would shut up.writing or posting before facts known.it's easy not to buy this rubbish but someone always wants to copy it first.-Dull as dishwater.

I think that's a pretty **** and sweeping post. A lot of stuff written by journalists is piss poor, I agree, but to label them "children mostly" is patronizing and unfounded. Just as much as me being annoyed by journalists writing ****, I get annoyed by 'fans' who stick their head in the sand if news isn't good news.

I think what we can take from this is that Wanyama is putting himself out there...ignore the who said what to whom, he's looking for the next big move.

Yes - but I do hate the press and their lazy desperation to lever big clubs into every story. Wanyama overreacting is enough to show me he did not intend to cause a fuss. If he was expecting that kind of headline he would not have made such a rushed mess of a response - and that reassures me.

 

The main problem stems from the Sun headline, which was not correct, the article doesn't actually say in it what the headline claimed.
