    When Derby got relegated the bookies had paid out on them being relegated by now (Paddy Power paid out after 5 games). They had more than double the number of points Sunderland have.

    ON balance Newcastle have probably made a better start to the season than Sunderland, which will of course add to the pleasure of the Sunderland fans when at the other end of the season they once more do their thing , RE 2015/16

    Watching on M of the D last night it was very tight at the time the ball was actually kicked and was an "inches" call but as Chippy said I'm sure we won't have any Mackems on crying about referee decisions not going there way as they're bigger than that.

    The last Tyne/Wear team to win a premiership game is STILL Newcastle.... and we haven't been in that division for almost 5 months.

    On balance with Newcastle having 31 points and top of their division as opposed to Sunderland with 2 points and bottom of the league, you"re probably right.

    So far this season there has been a total of 65 wins in all of the Premier League games........and yes, you've guessed it, the Mackems have won none of them <still 46 minutes>
