I'd prefer more Sanchez type players tbh, he fights hard, puts in 100% effort, occasionally plays up to the ref but never complains when it doesn't go his way. Costa is a little over aggressive at times and walks a fine line. Suarez was another who other than biting or getting racist was able to straddle the line between fair and fighting well. Fabregas is also very good at it. I'd prefer these kind of players who are cynical and battle in a clever way than those who can lose there head.
Thats why I am liking Costa this season, he seems to have (so far) cut all that **** out of his game, the stamps, the sly elbows, reacting when provoked. He is focusing on his game and it's doing wonders for his performances.
He mustnt have know that he had it in him,now his former strength is his secret weapon. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Yeah fair play to Costa, he's a **** no doubt, but he is very effective at what he does and he is a danger in every game.
A question: Is Holding not fast enough to be a Full back? From what little I have seen of him, he seems to have better control and passing than Gabriel or Jenkinson, and is defensively OK. The only thing I can think of is that he is short of pace to be back up to Bellerin.
