The game is on Monday, Sky sports 1, 5:15pm kick-off, Eric Bailly won't be involved, He's going to the African cup of nations.

Bailly going to African nations Cup. So I'd expect the rojo/jones partnership to come back.

Rumour is that Carrick is ill or injured so it could be Fellaini back. Lingard could be on for martial as he may need more than 48hrs to recover.

Playing catch up means we have to win this game. We are now 3 points from 4th but our poor GD means than we need 4 points. Spurs vs Chelsea: would prefer a draw but a Chelsea win won't be disastrous for United.

We've got to keep winning as everyone else is.

Win our games and let them others take points off each other, as Liverpool did City and hopefully Chelsea will Spurs.

We then have to beat Liverpool after the cup game.

    All rather straightforward really!

In all honesty, we need to forget about Chelsea (for now). Priority is to climb above spuds and city. Once we're in the mix for top 4 then we can think about overtaking the others. City and Spuds to lose.

Away to West Ham is never easy for us, despite their up and down season. No Carrick makes it even harder. Mata has to start.

3 man midfield of Mata Herrera Pogba with Martial/Lingard Ibrah and Mkhy in front?

For once I'd like us to score a couple of 1st half goals. Would be nice. (After failing to score with their first 30 shots on goal against Middlesbrough, the Red Devils then scored with their final two attempts to make it 2-1)

Absolutely. Fellaini can **** right off.

Bournemouth will be a tricky tie for Arsenal too so we need to pile the pressure on and have them looking over their shoulders, ditto Spurs on Weds. Said it before - keep the pressure on at this point of the season and you can guarantee somebody will crack under it, and Arsenal are the usual candidates.

Tbf I remember you quoting that midfield. Have a feeling it will be Fellaini though not Mata. Or he'll rest Mkhy and play Mata and Fellaini.

Yep. In fact the best thing for us is for every match in that top 5 "mini league' to end up in a draw. And for us to win every match against those.

Should be a tricky fixture. If we actually start taking our chances tho we should win.

I really think Westham are capable of beating anybody if they turn up, the one thing in our favour is they have been poor at home this season mostly.

Evening Monday night away game at West Ham. It will be tough. The only saving grace it's not at their old ground where the night time atmosphere, the fans were like virtually on the pitch!

Just as we are capable of beating anyone when playing at our best.

No doubt it will be a nervy game, hopefully not as bad as the Middlesbrough game!

If both teams play to their optimum, United should prevail. It is going to depend also on which team has recovered the better since Saturday. We may be able to bring a few fresh players: jones, Rojo, Carrick (?) Lingard, Blind

Agreed, I get pissed off every time I see his name in the line-up, He's crap, the sooner he leaves Manchester United, the better.

Subs: Romero, Smalling, Fellaini, Young, Mata, Martial, Rashford

Obiang, Lanzini and Feghouli come in for West Ham. Ayew and Noble are out. Might be a good thing although Feghouli is pretty decent.

Good team, no idea why we would drop Martial though.

Give the lad a run of games for **** sake.

I'd have left Blind at left back too.
