Changing the subject slightly. I went to the Workshop for tapas and pizza last night, as I used to love that place, but the prices for the tapas has really increased and I wasn't too impressed with the pizza.
Back t the Plasterers for me next time.

Chorizo and Broad Bean Rissoto. Probably the favorite one I cook. Lovely stuff!

I prefer it with no chorizo and no broad beans! Devil's food :emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0119-puke:

I dunno how you wouldn't like either, but what's wrong with Broad Beans?! They just taste like beefy Peas!

I LOVE broad beans - especially when you grow them yourself and pick them when the pods are still quite small and you eat the whole thing like 'mange tout'!! <ok>

You can get a variety called 'Aquadulce (sp)' which you sow in Nov and they're ready for picking next Mar/Apr. You don't need a big space to grow them.

Had a lovely meal at Barnham Broom Brasserie last night. Never been there before. The place is stunning.

Both their golf courses are very good as well. The Valley is particularly challenging and you have to play across the river/water 8 times.

I used to prefer the gorse-covered Hill Course as I lost considerably fewer balls on that one!!

Another vote for the Valley for me, definitely more balls lost, but I think a more picturesque course on the whole. I haven't really tried the food there, we always favoured a quick pint and then into the city for Thai or Indian.

    Bah!

Certainly the best course I've played around Norwich.
The Bell in Barnham has some decent ales, or the Ugly Bug in Colton did some decent meals.

Now known as the Norfolk Lurcher!

Quite a decent varied menu, though haven't eaten there yet.

We drove past that. Looked rough as old boots from the outside.
