Here we go…… The familiar fun/heartache/teethgrinding/angst is already upon us You can now predict how the table will look at the end of the Championship season from the list below: The Rules: Post your predicted end of season league table. Make sure you number each club. At the end of the season your predicted table is then compared with the actual table. . For each team's position you score the number of points that your score differs from the final table and then add up all the points. Disregard plus or minus differences. The lower the total, the better your score. The person with the lowest score wins the prediction league Post your predicted end of season table below and we will see how we all do by the end of season. I will try to remember too post a mid-season table so you can see how well or not you are doing. Obviously it is VERY difficult to predict for the whole season and much harder in the Championship than the Prem as we saw last season . So the prize for the Whole Season Prediction Table will be even bigger than last year. Here is the current table: Here are last season's results: The Winner: 108 MatejVydra23 The esteemed runner up: 109 CharlieLiveseywasmyhero The bronze medal position: 112 Andytoprankin The almost got there: 113 NZ Hornet 116 OldFrenchHornet Unplaced: 127 Chris 13 129 the ghost 131 Yorkie 134 CologneHornet 151 HornetFez 154 JTBodpo 156 MrsFez 166 Mustyfrog 188 Scullion Please post your predicted table by 5.00 Friday 15th September You can edit your prediction right up the closing time..

Yorkie's aging brain cells have had their annual analogue call out and have computed the results thus. If you want to double check yours I will edit any by midnight tomorrow, Thursday Remember the nearest to the final table for each club position you are the lowest score you get. So here we go: Look how close it was!! Final Standings 203_4 The Winner: 96 CharlieLiveseywasmyhero The esteemed runner up: 97 CologneHornet The bronze medal position: 98JTBodpo The almost got there: 102 the Ghost Unplaced: 103 Chris Frenchie 105 Yorkie 110 Hornet Fez 118 Mrs Fez and deep down there AGAIN.... 127 Scullion ( sorry!) ...but much better than last year when your score was 180+ Charlie moves up from second last year Scores were generally lower than previous season.....which meant we were better predictors ....with many clubs performing to expectation Most of us were more realistic about the horns..although all but one put them higher Most of us got most of the top 6.....and most of the bottom 4 In the main the mid table clubs were hard to predict. Birmingham surprised most people with much higher expectations of them..at leas one put them in the playoffs Hull, WBA and Middlesborough stymied some with different predictors putting them high or low Looking forward to another season of predicting... may it be even more exhilarating than this one Watch this space!! COYH!!
Thanks once again Yorkie for all your hard work. I only managed to win by 1 point, sorry Cologne, but a step up on last year. I expect I'll completely bomb out next year. Once again thanks Yorkie and here's to a more impressive year by Watford next season. COYH
How weird - 3rd in whole season - bottom for WFC ! I know the reason - always opting for a WFC win. I STILL think that anyone predicting a WFC loss ( or even a draw) should have points from that fixture DEDUCTED ,not awarded ! ( I onl;y say tis to help my biased view of things.) Seriously, if I hadn't got my rose tinted all season specs on I might have done even better. Cel a vie (as I've never heard anybody say in France). Looking forward to next season - as ever.
