According to this BBC preview of the Ipswich game, both Martin and Seaborne will be playing at centre-back tomorrow!! Either they think the Fonte is out (not to my knowledge) or we will play all 3 in a 5 man defence to snub out Chopra who I think has been playing up front on his own lately?!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14457271.stm No mention of Fox either, but I hope he plays in some capacity if Nige thinks he is ready. Sorry, they do mention Fox, says he is in the squad.
Trust me if Fonte is fit Fonte plays this also applys to Davis, Hammond and Lambert these guys seem to form the spine of our team
It must have been! As Chaplow's Shiny Head says, along with a few others he is always going to start.
Ah yes! He needs a stint up front at some point to get that elusive hat-trick! Wasn't it a cup game he did it in? Maybe he is ready for Bristol City/Swindon?!!
Start Seaborne again tonight. His confidence will be sky high after an epic display on saturday. Fair play to the guy he has shown his critics that he can play at this level and play well. Just need it on a regular basis now.
Its a typo, unless Adkins has gone mad. Would keep the side pretty much unchanged for tonight though. Can't think of anybody who deserves to be dropped after saturday. Oh, apart from Rickie because he hasn't scored yet so clearly can't cut it at this level...
Mate you could be right there, I have drawn a blank now! It was definitely a Crystal Palace player who now plays for us and he was being played out of position, that much i'm sure of! Has to be Fonte or Butters.
I can sense the sarcasm after someone made that silly thread about it a couple days back. Im sure @Wisecummer is joking.
It was Butterfield for Palace against Wolves, I remember watching Merson's reaction on Sky.
Butterfield scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup against Wolves about three seasons ago, if that's what you're all on about. Did it all in the space of about 15 mins as I recall. Any way, the reason for Seaborne and Martin are both starting is because of Seaborne's new position as a right-winger! haha (Stupid Football League!!)
I don't think Nigel will risk Connolly tonight.. Playing two games within a few days might be too much? I think he will be used as an impact sub, with guly starting up front and de ridder on the right
