Our team is awful. Yours is sublime. Ill always have a soft spot for the Arsenal cause of how you play football, always good to watch. Good luck for the rest of the season
Not really a fan of unnecessary swearing on this thread, but it has to be said that Joey Barton if a total ****wit **** flap
Now that is **** refereeing. Nolan's reaction on Szczesny was pretty much identical to Diaby's earlier. Barton's tackle on Diaby was at least worthy of a yellow. Szczesny got booked, Diaby got sent off. If Diaby was sent off for the two challenges combined, then they're a yellow each and Nolan should've been booked for pushing Diaby, and booked again for wrestling Szczesny to the ground. If Diaby was sent off for the first alone (on Barton) then Nolan should've been sent off for doing the same to Szczesny. If Diaby was sent off for the second alone, then Nolan should've gone for doing the same first (pushing Diaby). I don't want to complain, and it won't make much of a difference, but it is poor, inconsistent refereeing.
Incidentally, I think that yes, Szczesny should have been booked and yes, Diaby should have been sent off, but so should have Nolan. And Best's disallowed goal should have stood.
neither of those was a real penalty............and barton is the biggest mug i have ever seen i hope he ****ing gets raped by a japanese monkey
Bergkamp and your cesc - you look like right mugs hahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Fair play, can't remember the last time arsenal lost a 4 goal advantage in a game. You played well after we went a man down, regardless of the referee and how we fell apart
No it wasn't! Clutching at straws there man. Nolan didn't shove Szczesny in the head then push him in the chest. And Nolan was booked, as he deserved to be, for the level of the reaction he gave your time wasting keeper. Nothing more would have been fair.
No, Szczesny was booked for time-wasting. Diaby didn't shove Barton in the head and push him in the chest; it was the same, Diaby pushed Barton to the floor by appliance of pressure on the back of the neck after a rash challenge. He pushed Nolan in the back after Nolan ran 30 yards to abuse him and push him, which seems fair enough. Diaby's sending off was deserved. Nolan grabbed Szczesny by the neck and shoved him to the floor by appliance of pressure. Why would I clutch at straws when we were 4-2 up?
Why are you all so down on Barton? He was the inspiration behind our fightback. In the first half he looked to be the only one who gave a toss.
