I’d rather Liverpool had won the league just for a change and because they have Andy Robertson in the team. I see more Man City shirts locally than Liverpool.
Not the case in hull mate. Has a wander round Walton at market this morning Liverpools loyal fans all over. Never saw a single man city shirt.
would it be fair to say Cardiff were robbed. Beating Chelsea 1-0 then an appalling refereeing decision with a few minutes to go that derailed them.
It’s the Liverpool fans that are the issue. It says it all that Man City effectively bought the league but the neutrals don’t mind because it meant Liverpool didn’t win it.
Man City were regularly out bid for players . So i disagree. Liverpool would have bought it just as much as united or Chelsea
The last time I even sat up and took notice of anyone winning the Premier League was when Lester won it by ten clear points. Now that was interesting. I'm still convinced I dreamt that.
Never quite understood that "they bought the league" thing. It's like no one realises that the club that buys the best players will do quite well. Ordinarily. Almost every club at the top of a league spends more than the ones lower down. And generally, they earn more. Both clubs, and players. And most club's fans seem to demand that their owners spend millions of pounds on players. But moan about other clubs that do that same thing. Literally. But no, Man C bought the league.
'Buying the league', must feel somewhat empty for their fans though. I wouldn't dance around the streets if we did it. What's the new song going to be? We've got more money than you. We've got more money than you... It's no achievement is it.
