All I can say, is that I'm VERY proud of my team. Yes, I accept that Liverpool may have taken their 'foot off the pedal' in the 2nd.half ....
Me too. A couple of moments with the ball at his feet which reminded me of the first half of last season, but he made two terrific saves in the second half and I thought he played very well.
Feels weird to lose a game 4 - 1 and still feel positive. Think we played some great football and we won't play high quality teams like Liverpool every time, so I'm happy with what I saw. I feel for Hanley though, own goals are a horrible thing.
Really glad Pukki got that goal with a typical Pukki run. It's so important that he gets off to a good start so there's no-one saying he can't do it in the Prem and thereby hitting his confidence.
Important for Pukki to score after a misfiring pre season. Buendia and Cantwell did well going forward, I think Cantwell is more suited to the PL style of play. We miss Zimmerman at the back he is such a leader on the pitch and always focused, we need him back. I think did Godfrey, Aaron’s and Lewis did well, it’s a big step up from the championship to the champions of Europe. We lacked a bit of energy in midfield hopefully Amadou can bring that
Much less embarrassing 2nd half. More compact, less naive in defence. Still looked lost on the ball at times, whilst still managing to create a fair few chances. Could have been 4-4

I think they're going to be entertaining. They're going to lose a lot of goals but I think they're going to score a lot as well and be involved in some classic games.
