Do you really think Bamford will keep up the goal a game ? Would love it to happen but don't see it happening.
I'll be happy if unlike last season we actually have two fit strikers so we can mix and match or swap according to opposition or form....
Said all season, he's going to be a big player for us this season, and happy to say right so far. Thought last season Bielsa had dragged every bit of ability out of his players. But getting more from Bamford and Forshaw than I thought was there.
And amusing that even when Millwall get to the top of the league - they're still bottom of the top of the league
Busy 10 days coming up, 4 games in 10 days, 5 in 12 if you count Wigan game. This period is where we see who tires, who can handle the pressure, and whether Bielsa makes changes to accomodate the busy period.
Great result, but I wonder how comfortable we'd have looked if they'd had 11 players on the park second half. We didn't always look to be taking full advantage of the extra man by pulling them out of shape and towards the end it would have been easy to forget we had an extra body on the park. Poor link though so maybe I'm talking cr@p. Top of the table and a win's a win.
OHHH YESSSS Just got in,have now finished reading the posts, grrrreat win & Bamford well bloody hell, would you believe it, made my weekend that has And a fantastic good afternoon all
That's true Chesh. I know I'm repeating myself, but from day one when he joined us on loan I liked his honesty, work rate and effort especially for a loanee. His extra training over the pre season has worked in his favour.
We did pull them all over the park, switching the play, wave after wave of attacks - and that’s with Hernandez again not having one of his better games. We should’ve scored more goals. Think it would’ve been the same even if they’d had eleven on the pitch This squad looks quality.
