Is it coincidence that the day after FPP (UK) is dissolved, Donald is apparently knocking £5m off his asking price if we don't go up? The loan was from FPP (USA) wasn't it?
Jardine is pitiful mate, doesn't bother me at all. He's one of these people who makes me think, when things go wrong, 'at least I'm not him' He's on a Sunderland forum openly celebrating what could be a massive blow to the club ... ... just to have a go at a Sunderland supporter. He has no love for the club, that's for sure.
Sorry to go a bit off topic but wasn't there some kind of deal brokered by Amanda Stavely which involved a different price if they were relegated, just wondering if this is common practice when purchasing a football club
Staveley wanted Ashley to accept various caveats if things went wrong but no bonus if it went right. I'm no fan of Ashley but ffs, either buy the club and take your chances or f**k off. It's a case of 'compensate me if I mess up but let me take the credit if it goes well'.
So Donald still their money ... ...what a surprise. "The Americans still have 10m in the club. Their ‘loan’ that need to be repaid. But they don’t want to be in an auction to buy it. There’s no buyer at current sale price. So there’s nothing doing right now."
Some great responses, thanks. I'll just mention that I don't want praise if this comes off ... ... none of my own money will be involved
