Just before I switched off - the Rangers fans are certainly loud enough and enthusiastic enough, but when they started with their sectarian chants it got too much for me. I know, but don't understand why, they hate catholics, but I don't see the need for them to sing about it at a football match.
Apparently the man who supposedly took over Charlton was involved with Bassini. No wonder it's all unraveled at the Valley! https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/...nimer-pulls-his-backing-of-charlton-athletic/
Marco Cassetti reminisces about his time at Watford. “In 46 league games plus the playoffs, a few games were missed either by disqualification or perhaps by some blow, but not due to muscle injuries or things like that.” Funny that - after he left all we ever seemed to hear about were muscle injuries or muscle imbalances (whatever they were). http://sportwitness.co.uk/completel...experience-watford-injury-prevention-england/
Blimey didn't know Elton almost sold out to Robert Maxwell who was involved in a number of clubs and a rather shady businessmen.
Robert Maxwell wasn't just a rather shady business man, he was an out and out crook. He stole millions out of company pension funds to pay for his lavish lifestyle. He was an extremely unpleasant individual with some quite disgusting habits. When the net finally closed and his whole empire was about to collapse he disappeared off the back of his boat. There has been speculation ever since about was he pushed or did he jump. Another time that WFC nearly met a very untimely end.
