No, not that one. George is a good example though. The Wham years made it difficult for him to be taken seriously as an artist later on. Then again, who gives a **** about being taken seriously? I'll give you another example. When Lemmy played at Glastonbury a few years ago, a friend of mine, black woman in her 50s, who saw him on telly, rang me up to say " What's going in with me? I'm listening to heavy metal, and I like it". She thought a middle aged black woman couldn't like Lemmy. But why the **** not? It's just music.
Bit more than just good. That sweatband and sports jacket combo is extraordinarily ill advised, I’ll give you that. Sultans of Swing is a great tune. Good lyrics too. Check out Guitar George. He knows all the tunes..
With a double knee replacement? I don't ****ing think so, doc. I go for a good walk every other day and walk up and down stairs a lot. Can't work miracles. You have your own indoor gym and peloton machine, no doubt.
OK. He's a very good guitarist, but not my style. He must be good to have played on Gaucho by Steely Dan. Only one track, though. Time Out of Mind
