Well there is no live football but you can enjoy us winning the 5 side tournament back in the early 90s..
Brilliant I have the 30 minute highlights of Watford v LiVARpool on Sky Sports That has had few reruns
Well there is even more archive footage of Watford success on: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0736hkr/the-fa-cup-rewind-quarterfinal-classics-part-1 Hopefully they'll scrap the FA Cup this year so won't need to talk about last year's final!
Interesting article about Almen Abdi. Pity it is not up to date. His career fizzled out after leaving us which was both surprising and disappointing. Time Capsules: Abdi Talks Promotion (2015)
Love it, Mark! The Luton and Chelsea keepers look like they’d make good goalkeeping coaches for some lucky club.
Around two weeks ago, the club launched its Hornets at Home community initiative to try and offer support to fans who may need an extra helping hand during the Covid-19 outbreak and they have also offered Watford general hospital use of Vicarage Road while they help tackle the virus. Now, players, coaches and staff members have been calling up to check in on fans to make sure they are remaining safe and to help them avoid becoming lonely during their periods of isolation, with stricter government measures keeping people indoors to try and stem the spread of the illness. Head coach Nigel Pearson is among those to have been calling people, while Nathaniel Chalobah and Adrian Mariappa have also been picking up the phone. Over half the playing squad have signed up to the project, while a number of former players are also involved.
Looks like our players have been keeping in contact with each other. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCptKljTrbdMTgmuekGKhRug
Nigel Pearson has hailed Ben Foster's attempts to keep the morale of the Watford squad high during the coronavirus lockdown. The 36-year-old goalkeeper - a cycling fanatic - donned his Watford lycra last week to put some team-mates through a gruelling 30-minute virtual spin class. Captain Troy Deeney, Andre Gray and Craig Cathcart were among those to take part, and manager Pearson says such small, morale-boosting sessions will be vital if and when the current season resumes.
There is a video of it on YouTube. Foster was keen - not sure some of the others were. Gray joined in late and stopped first!
