Back to the spicy sweet potato, garlic, onion, chilli and sausages oven roast. With Estrella Damm. Used the hot smoked paprika rather than the sweet smoked paprika by mistake, so I might have some explaining to do.
Sat in a lay-by just outside Harwich having Chicken, Chorizo and prawn Paella from Lidl only 369 calories followed by Greek yoghurt and blueberries all washed down with a cheeky little lemon and lime sparkling water
First barbecue of the year tonight - yes, it's April and it's warm enough even up here. Maple glazed pork belly ribs, chicken and chorizo kebabs, a freshly made side salad and coleslaw. Washed down with my first attempt at homebrew, a session IPA - it's been brewing for the last 30 days, and is ready to drink today - hopefully it'll be tasty, it should be cool as it's been in the cellar for the past two weeks.....
Bolognese sauce which was made in industrial quantities is now being up cycled into a fiery chilli, to be had with brown rice, guacamole, sour cream and grated cheddar, and washed down with Estrella Damm. Beers already taken sitting in the garden on a lovely afternoon.
Chickens strips in a tomato & basil sauce with mini potatoes followed by fruit & ice cream. May well partake of pink gin this evening...
Meat balls and spag tonight.... No booze as got to pace ourselves seeing we have another week and a half of lockdown to go......
Well the barbecue was good, but I'm really quite chuffed how the homebrew turned out - think I'll have a bit of a thick head in the morning - only another 23 pints to go!
Mexican chicken tonight with red & green peppers, red onion, tomatoes, herbs & spices on wholegrain rice...
I must be the only person in Britain who doesn't like spicy food!! Just demolished a sweet potato, carrot and kale nut roast with herby roast potatoes, carrots, roasted parsnips coated in honey and brown sugar and buttery cabbage.
Lazy bastard tonight after grafting in the garden all day - one of the chinese in town has just re-opened so we've grabbed a takeaway - washed down with Irn Bru!
