IT'S BACK! FOOTBALL WITH FANS RETURNS TO Not606 CHARLTON It's The Tiddler's Travels thread... From the SCEFL Premier Division Beckenham vs Bearsted ... 26th September 2020 ... Elf's first ground-hop this season Result: Beckenham Town 3-4 Bearsted ... a goal fest
Very disappointed in this post @lardiman Where is the “Must See” photo from @The mighty Elfsborg ? The one of the programme & the pint.
I must admit, I’ve been to the pub 4 nights running this week, I’ll give it a miss tonight out of respect to you, and have a Deliveroo curry
@Appalling Rug part of my new future is to not derail a thread, however enjoyable it was to see you get p***** off with it.
Many thanks to our Moderator, I now have a purpose in life continuing this hobby and sharing my love. I was looking forward to my first COVID game, particularly curious on rules put in place. With 30 minutes before kick off we sat in the club house as it was a bit chilly, within 5 minutes I recognised a face in a Beckenham jacket, I flicked through the programme and the officials list confirmed it was Dave Mehmet. I had a brief chat with him after getting his autograph. A good start, I have always collected signatures from when I first started going to football. Beckenham's ground is very decent for Kent League level and a major improvement from when I last went 25+ years ago. With no professional football to go to, there was a very healthy crowd of 119 to enjoy a cracking end to end game. As for restrictions, NOTHING! No sanitiser, no stewards advising of distancing, only one door for in and out of club house. Very enjoyable. £4 concession admission £1 programme £2 2 teas no sugar Total outlay £7
Tyson snr lives very close to that ground, I've never gone in but it has always looked nice from the outside
You used to argue that you got concession entrance because you made it up at the bar... what's the reason now? Has the shop made you redundant?
