It's a ****-up for sure, but Hoos should keep his mouth shut and the club should just get on with it. It's the same for everybody.
Our players could go now, we sent them home with gym equipment, scales and a self training plan, they had to phone in their weight every couple of days and god help anyone who put weight on,some have even lost weight and are super fit, pitty we don't play your fat wallets.
Bielsa re-invented football though. No other club would have thought to have done this. Shame football isn’t purely won on body fat % really.
Can the EFL actually manage anything with any semblance of professionalism? Best idea would be to cancel the season with no promotions or relegations and restart the season in August No-one will be bothered will they?
So many clubs moan whatever is suggested, the bigger clubs always look at things differently from those on the breadline and league position also affects what they want so there is no happy medium. The EFL is fast becoming unmanageable and the Championship clubs are actively looking at a breakaway so things will ultimately depend on what they decide for the future. It also explains why several big League One clubs are kicking up a stink having the majority of smaller clubs calling the shots. Our mid-table mediocrity may not be a bad thing this season...
https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/52413/the-mark-warburton-hour--podcast Interesting interview with the manager on the podcast last week (prior to the 20th June announcement) in which he gives his thoughts on why the season must be concluded, even if it's at the expense of a condensed season the year after. Also, his views on how the transfer market will suffer, and almost all players value will be severly depreciated (including Eze)
I remember not too many years ago,QPR in an F A CUP final, and now you're happy with mid table championship, hope you still have a few older lads who want more than that.
By my reckoning we were last in an FA Cup final nearly 40 years ago. We roll out the open topped bus when we make it past the third round these days.
