Love the old photos Heidi and I’m just wondering... Today with modern cameras, do you get your more recent photos transferred to hard copy or do you store them digitally? There is something special that you can’t beat going through an old box of photos compared to scrolling through an iPad or PC
The majority of them are just on my computer and backed up on an external hard drive hopefully. Because I had so many I stopped printing them out as there was notwhere to store them. I've just been going through the albums to find out which ones haven't been scanned as there are still plenty more to go through.

Heidi, I'm pretty sure a techy-type bloke I used to work with told me he was digitising his photo collection. He told me at length (even though it was perfectly clear I wasn't interested. Welcome to IBM techies). that he had bought a special scanner that was capable of scanning in his negatives, as it gave much, much clearer pictures. Actually, he told me loads that I've forgotten (mainly due to disinterest), but the one thing I remember is that with the negatives, you don't get the texture of the photo paper showing, which is critical in old pictures. This was a good 10-15 years ago, right enough, so things may have changed, but hopefully it might give you something to think about. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks Whitejock. The only issue would be finding the negatives now lol! They will be there somewhere I'm sure.
More photos from the seventies. Heidi wearing Billy Bremner's shirt; we borrowed the kit for the Croda ladies team through John in the Pools Office. Wearing the yellow Leeds shirt My bedroom walls full of memorabilia including my programme from Salonika. Sadly I devlaued it somewhat by putting a drawing pin through it to hang on my wall!
