Typical sort of thing said by an ex pro they all love and lap up, But if a player admitted that now they would probably be hammered from all angles accused of disrespecting the club and endangering others.
I'd say that was just his way of covering up the fact the he was a cr*p player - as his subsequent career trajectory confirmed.
Probably sums him best up that he played under Tony Pulis at Stoke. The video looks like he is just on a night out with the lads as well. As I say it's a typical former pro telling a few stories people lap up - bit like when they all say "we used to be drunk on the Friday and turn up on the Saturday or "we put on a few bets etc" If a top player said this there would be outraged and probably some sort of misconduct charge from the FA or whoever.
Looks like Javi Gracia has walked into a bit of a nightmare - his whole squad bar one up for sale.. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...Jose-Gaya-feel-effects-Covid-19-pandemic.html
Hardly a prolific scorer for Hearts (5 goals in 40 appearances). No doubt that he will have something to prove when he plays Watford.
Paul Robinson looking for a new club. If he hangs on a few months we might have a job! You can imagine him being told what to do and how he'd react! https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sp...s/birmingham-city-west-brom-robinson-18837661
An interesting read. Mex might know something about this. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal..._medium&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1598956341
I was just going to post the same article. He is a solid RB for the Rayados in Monterrey now. I thought he'd do much better at Watford but was never given the full chance. At that time he was a bit more versatile too. He's had a decent career. I didn't know he had recovered from that though!
Is he playing RB? When he came to us he was Mexico's left back. I couldn't understand why when we went up and strengthened the midfield that we didn't keep him and play in his specialist position or at WB. He would have been excellent for us. Too late now for sure.
A rather different tone of statement to the Pearson one from the club for Mullins! “Hayden represented the club with great dignity in difficult circumstances,” said Chairman & CEO Scott Duxbury of the former midfielder’s work as Interim Head Coach for the Hornets’ first-team on two separate occasions during the 2019/20 campaign. “His popularity among the first-team playing squad was typical of the respect he earned from all parts of the club during his time here. “I’m delighted that he’s getting a coaching opportunity at first-team level, and we all wish him every success for the future.”
He can play RB, LB, LWB, RWB and at a push holding midfield. He's never coming back to herts now mind!
