WATFORD v LUTON Fourteen years have passed since Watford last played their bitterest scummy rivals. That was back in 2006, and that season Watford got 4 points off them with a win and a draw. There was a player from those games who is now in Watford's squad. Any guesses? If we are honest, Luton are on the way up, no not the dump of a ****hole city but sort of as a club, surviving relegation last season on a tight budget after promotion the previous season. However, Watford are having to deal with the jolt of relegation. Even though this game will have no (o, zero) fans the police have still ruined my Saturday morning and made it a 12:30 K.O. (6:30am Mexican time) I sure hope that stops any trouble. Watford have made an ok start to the league, a win at home to Borough and a bore draw at Sheff Wed. Luton have two wins under their belts, beating Reading & then Derby. Both teams played weakened line ups during the cup games in the week. Aparrently, the club have said that Troy and Sarr are available for Sat. Whilst, Welbeck & Del Boy are still not fully fit (along with numerous others.) Capoue and Pereyra have handed in transfer requests though, so won't be in any more squads. WE HAVE TO BEAT THIS SCUM - BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE ¡¡COYH COYH COYH!!
Take another 1-0! Sad that despite there being no fans it seems the GT statue is still having to be boarded up to protect it from any travelling thugs.
"There was a player from those games who is now in Watford's squad. Any guesses?" Presumably Ben Foster?
You just ooze class Mr Mexican.Sure the club will really appreciate your thoughtful 'comments' when theyre trying to keep a lid on things. Then you talk about stopping trouble !!
To be fair, I think by the standards Mex has probably witnessed at local derbies where he's at, he has shown admirable restraint.
The worst I have ever seen was in Chile - Colo Colo v U d Catolica - the Colo Colo fans were attacking a rival fan who was in a wheelchair.
The last game I saw before I left the UK in 1993 was against Luton. It was the most lifeless 0-0 draw I could remember. No passion on the pitch and no passion in the stands.
Well you have an ally Mr Mexican with the Coach (was still in the job when i wrote this) saying 'we will fight for this game'
I do hope Deeney plays this weekend, but he will be a card waiting to happen. Actually it might benefit him having no crowd to ramp himself up further.
Seriously I do heope TD and Sarr are on the team sheet tomorrow... .they are both seemingly fit.... if not it will raise more questions
I never want fighting mate, last resort. I don´t think my match thread even suggest that. Anyhow, all the best Sir. Sorry to write things between the lines I didn´t want to.
