Fair enough. I agree that he is far from being a champions league player. I doubt he would have been expected to learn Flemish though. I was probably projecting my own likely response to an offer like that, it wasn’t intended as a slur, more like genuine confusion. Let’s hope he signs and ups his value this season.
He said he would sort out his exit. He is on his way to us, he has always wanted to play for us ...think I would have perfered Willock though
Also, these players are people not machines. There is always a chance that a player who did not do that well elsewhere flourishes under new management, training styles etc. I can't say for certain (because I don't know him) but I don't think I'd want Lee Bowyer as my boss!
Albert Adomah just drove past me on South Africa Road in a blue and white hooped Jaguar, twirling a QPR scarve out of the window singing "Uncle Albert's coming home". I am not sure if this has any relevance, but I thought it might be of interest.
Me too Sean Gallagher who does seem to be in the know. Says Adomah is having a medical on Monday and will finalise a deal then. Willock deal has to be done by the 5th if it is going to happen as it is an international deal. Is it still on...or is that asking too much
I thought it was always supposed to happen on a Thursday. Or was that only in CernyBernyland?. With the number of players apparently about to come in they'll be reporting us for breaching the FFP rules at this rate.
Oh don’t worry, we are motorways behind Florists and Rooney’s ‘Ol Derby & Joan Club. We’d have to expand our new training ground to match up with those guys!
Using my trusty babel fish the tweet says Chris Willock leaves Benfica permanently and signs for Queen Park Rangers
