A little over a month ago Rocky was diagnosed with stomach cancer and it quickly spread to his liver and bones he was put on palliative care a few weeks ago and died today he was one of the best RIP Rocky
Rocky was a dedicated Spurs and Wycombe supporter and it is with sadness that this news is passed to you The original notification, with tributes, can be read here on the Wycombe board
This is devastating. I got along really well with Rocky/ Stokey, absolute diamond and was always cracking jokes here on the Spurs board. He’s gonna be sorely missed. If anyone on either the Spurs or Wycombe boards knows his family/ friends personally please pass on my condolences x
Yes, poor guy. Left my tribute on the Wycombe board but was one of the good guys on this board. In recent years we knew him latterly as @Stokenchurch yid. Will be properly missed.
****. Terrible news. Thanks for letting us know, though. He'll be sorely missed. He was on here since 2011. Seemed like a really nice bloke and I don't think anyone had a bad word to say about him. Such a short time since his diagnosis.
I remember him, was talking about him and few others just the other day with @DierHard , sad news this chaps cancer is such a bastard. Feel for his peeps, never a good time to lose anyone but with Xmas just round the corner it gotta be horrible for them. RIP Stokenchurch, sorry for annoying you all those times over the years
Such sad news , another one of the good guys gone, I will have a large rum for him tonight , Rest in Peace Stokenchurch yid
So sorry to hear that. He always came across as a nice bloke, he'll be missed on the Spurs board. Love to his family and friends.
I forgot to add that Stokenchurch was also a regular on the Spurs music forum and a big Paul Weller fan so while I have my rum in tribute I will also be playing Wild Wood, the Jam and Motown
One of his last posts on here mentioned it https://not606.com/threads/all-teams-20-21-week-5.387003/page-2#post-14220667
RIP, and condolences to his family and friends. I lost my mum to cancer, she was admitted to hospital and 3 weeks later was dead. Cancer is indeed a b*stard.
In shock. I am an emotional type and news like this , even though not knowing him personally, brings tears to my eyes while writing these lines. We all 'knew' him and could count him as our true friend. R.I.P.
Its odd I only know him through this forum, but I feel as if I have lost a kindred spirit - we seemed to have so much in common, I feared the worst when he stopped posting and sadly that has proved to be correct - RIP matey I will be playing The Jam very loud in your memory tonight
