Nah not yet, probs next weekend too busy this weekend. Mrs usually does it all though, she’s good at that sorta thing.
I managed to win the ‘avoid hearing Last Christmas’ challenge last year. It was a proud moment tbh. I ****ing hate Christmas btw, have I mentioned this before? This year, without all the forced joviality, the dreaded works do (that I have to organise) and the horror of actually visiting shops full of desperate trudging men with no ****ing imagination & the cringeworthy horror of having to socialise with neighbours. I might actually enjoy it
So you’ve got your Jewish missus, who couldn’t be less interested, doing the tree and deccies? Fair play I guess. If you can get her to make you a bacon sarnie on Christmas morning, that’s bonus points mate.
We do food bank stuff through work. Always donate stuff to that. Nothing else off the top of my head a minute though. As it goes, I've a couple of standing orders on the go so donate all year-round but..........
Yeah she’s got a good interior design sorta mind. She cares less about her religion than Christmas so it’s all good. She’s made me loads of bacon barms as it happens. My mum once visited at Christmas and her contribution to the dinner that both our families were attending was a ham joint. Mrs’ old boy couldn’t get enough of it
Yeah I might drop some stuff off at the food bank. Throw a tramp a tenner on C/Eve to make myself feel better for being a **** all year. Sucky send your deets bro.
We’ll be making our annual donation to Make a Wish. Have a direct debit, but give a bit extra at Chrimbo instead of buying every **** a Christmas card. We also select 2 poor kids at random and let them look through the window and watch our daughter play with all of her awesome toys. You should see their faces mate. Wonderful stuff.
Yeah we normally drop all of our empty toy boxes at the orphanage, by the time they’ve realised I’m normally long gone. Saves room in the bins for all the old toys we throw out.
This thread has just prompted a convo here like. What are we doing about a turkey this year given there might only be just the 2 of us? Already sorted, I’ve ordered one from the farm Oh, right oh, quanta costa? £65 Oh ffs.
Lol. My Mrs once asked me to give her mum the money for the Turkey she bought, cos we done Xmas dinner at her house. It was Kosher so double the price of a regular one, ****ing brilliant.
Hopefully win one playing golf like. This gets me mega brownie points if I do. Only ever win one but it's Turkey trot time so will try again next few weeks.
