Yes, I completely agree, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it's annouced I think. The more interest question is will Albon still be Red Bull?
Surely it is an absolute no brainier for Red Bull to ditch Kyvyat and then let Albon and Gasly have some sustained duels together. They’d be an exciting line up at Alpha Tauri. Not because Kyv has done a bad job but because we know his level now and there is more upside to Albon. Perez would be a great number 2 for RBR and a significant upgrade on Albon. I also think experience in that team might help them set the car up better - I’ve never seen Max happy and I wonder if his over enthusiasm might be what is holding RBR development back. Losing Dan Ricc was an awful move from Red Bull. As for Bottas- the writing is now firmly on the wall for a case of when and not if. Best move for him would be Aston Martin but it would require Lawrence admitting his son isn’t the best available drive and that’s not gonna happen is it? (Unless he can ask Williams to give Lance a seat back?)
Another telling factor is Racing points reaction to this weekend. A huge song and dance was made when Stroll got Pole in Turkey. Now Perez has won a race it's "Lance also did well to get 3rd", they've virtually glossed over Perez's win. It must be embarrassing having to just play dumb and go with it. But there we go, such is life. All about who you know.
I think Lawrence Stroll was saying on TV after the race that it would be unfair if Perez didn't find a drive for next year. The irony was strong.
Hamilton wants everyone to show respect for his cause by “taking the knee” but can’t show respect for his countries national anthem. It’s just about respect that’s all!
On the one hand I hope Vettel has lost his mojo and proves an expensive change for Tracing Point but on the other I hope he gets his head together and proves Ferrari wrong. I'm soo conflicted......
I don't agree that he doesn't show respect, but in any case which of those two things do you consider the most important? Think carefully before responding.
Conspiracy theory from my Dad. Mercedes threw the race to protect their Lewis related commercial interests.
It’s him that’s making the others do it so it’s his cause! During the national anthem, which is being played because it’s his country and he’s representing it. He finds it’s more important to fiddle with his hair and wave to people, I find that disrespectful! It’s my opinion, I don’t really care what you think about it.
to be fair, he has stood up there and had it played to him nearly 100 times, and I don't stand to attention or salute when I hear it.
Sorry, freedom and equality more important than anthems, flags or any of that. Take your mock outrage and do one.
